Synopsis:
This story begins with two characters missing each other who end up being two strangers. Two people who talk without talking to each other to say that they have already said everything. The story of Bea, who decides to go to the city to search what she doesn’t find in Andrés. And the story of Andrés, who decides to look for Bea to find himself. “Mantequilla” was born in a workshop about subtext driven by the famous author José Sánchis Sinisterra. The basic issue the play is about is the lack of communication. “Mantequilla” wants to investigate how we establish dialogues with those who are not there and share silences with those who are actually there, notwithstanding the technological chances of out hyperconnected world.
