Synopsis:
"The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant", one of Rainer W. Fassbinder's most famous work, is an example of the excesses in filming of this German director. In this Spanish theatrical transposition, staged at La Casa de la Portera in Madrid, Petra becomes a Madrid dressmaker from the 1950s. Director EstefanÌa CortÈs reinterprets singularly Fassbinder's Petra, creating a personal screening of this story of women, power games, destruction and lesbian love.
