A sweet-sour party, a birthday that becomes a tragedy. Blanka celebrates her eighteenth birthday, and the guests are her father, her mother, her brother, Teresa, a cuddly friend, and VladimÌr, a very special and troublesome guest invited by the birthday girl. SemÌnka is a dramatic stage show in Spanish, based on a family secret and the inability of young Blanka to understand how her family can live without facing the reality. The girl is still too young to know that nothing is white or black and that we usually move in the range of gray, avoiding the extremes, so that we have not to suffer from unnecessary pain. The story takes place in the Czech Republic, the birthplace of the playwright and director of the show.
